VuPoint Slide copier?

Can someone help me build a driver for a VuPoint Slide Copier? I don't have a clue where to begine but I learn fast.

    What distro are you using? I have a slide scanner. It is just a digital camera/webcam in a case. Mine works with "Cheese". Try that, or a similar program, that takes a snapshot.

    Using Umbuntu 14.04

    Cheese is installed but does not recognise the device which is USB connected.
  • What is the result when you put into a Terminal?: lsusb

    It is plugged in but the computer does not recognise it.
  • tru to uninstall the drivver and try to setup it again
