Linux mint in drive that is failing - Help

edited July 2014 in Installation

I have a system that is dual boot that the main is several windows partitions and am using the easybcd 2.2.0 boot program. I installed Linux mint (3.2.0) a year or two ago and I noticed at the time it put in another boot menu of its own but I didn’t think anything of it. I didn’t do much with it and now the drive is failing. I don’t think I can get into the Linux. How do I disable or delete that boot menu so I can just wipe the drive? I have to go through that menu to get to windows and if it doesn't come up (which has happened several times) then I can't get into windows. I have to repair the MBR to get in. Please help. TJames22

PS I just realized I didn't make it clear the drive the Linux is on is a second drive.
