How do i get on from here?

installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GNOME_CFLAGS

and GNOME_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

    The error message is stating that your installed version of gtkmm is 2.10.9 and it does not fulfill the requirement of at least version 2.12.* .

    You need to install an updated version of gtkmm.
